About Us
James E. Ryhal is a United Methodist Church pastor
and former assistant prison chaplain. He grew up in
New Castle, Pennsylvania, earned a B.A. from Grove
City College and a Master of Divinity. James did
doctoral work in The Religious Consortium and served
13 years with Kairos of Ohio. He is a member of the
YMCA, the Airedale Terrier Club of America and the
Airedale Terrier Rescue Adoption. He is currently
working on his second book about a returning W.W.II
soldier, based on a true story. He has two sons,
Christopher and James, and resides in Springfield, Ohio
with his wife, Sonya.
